Human Resource/ Payroll responsibility is to help manage and oversee compensation and benefits provided to employees. Provide Employees a benefit package, which may include health and dental insurance, life insurance, 401(k) and retirement plans and paid time off. Responsible for developing and implementing health and safety measures in the workplace. I’m also responsible in paying the County Credit Cards, and keeping up all the receipts. I maintain and keep track of all the county vehicles and property insurance. I place orders with Vendors for supplies for the Courthouse and different departments. 

Distribute wages through paper checks or direct deposits. Complete payroll reports, handle changes in job status, job titles and exemptions. Coordinate request for leave and other absences. Maintain payroll processing system and records.
